Las Vegas Drone Inspection

The best way to see the roof is to walk it, but this is not always possible or safe. It is because of these issues that we have trained and certified in Drone Inspections. We are licensed and experienced to make sure your roof is thoroughly inspected so that your family is protected and knows they are safe.

UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles, more commonly known as drones, have become a necessary tool among many Florida home inspectors, and for good reason. Although they aren’t suitable for every one of these professionals, they have a significant number of advantages when it comes to searching for leaking pipes and roof damage, both of which can lead to costly repairs, if they aren’t addressed immediately. That is why you need to call in the best company in the industry. The following is a list of the key advantages of drone use in building and home inspections.

Cost Factors

In an industry where time is money, drone use results in more cost-effective inspections. Additionally, the fact that using helicopters and planes for aerial photography has become too cost-prohibitive has led to the popularity of drone usage.

Liability

Manual inspections often involve hazardous working conditions, thereby necessitating that inspectors be insured against liability should they be
seriously or fatally injured on the job. Drone use decreases these liabilities and eliminates the risks that inspectors may encounter.

Maneuverability

Because they can see areas that the human eye often misses, drones can spot problems that might otherwise go unnoticed. Complex buildings and home exteriors featuring odd angles can be inspected much easier using a drone than attempting to do this manually.

Safety

The manual inspection of multi-story properties requires the person to climb ladders in order to look for all signs of damage and flaws. Working on a ladder when strong winds are a factor can put the safety of an inspector in jeopardy and potentially lead to injuries on the job. Using a drone eliminates these risks.

Share-ability

Digital images and videos can easily be shared among
those who have an interest in a property. Therefore, every party concerned about possible structural issues or problems can see them in high resolution when necessary

Speed

A drone can scan a structure’s exterior in a fraction of the time that it takes to inspect it manually. This not only allows building and home inspectors to serve more clients, it enables them to conduct a more thorough inspection.

Visual-clarity

While the human eye tends to miss certain damage or flaws, drones with up to 4K resolution can see the minutest of details Furthermore, drones equipped with thermal cameras detect differences in heat which often equates to water leaks. With years of experience in the business of mold removal, our team is always ready to assist you in having a mold-free environment. Clogged gutters

If your gutters contain an excessive amount of loose shingle granules, this is a sign that your shingles are being worn away. Granules give your shingles added weight and protect them from ultraviolet rays.

Why would I need a Drone Roof Inspection?

At Absolute Home Inspections, we believe in going the extra mile to ensure the highest-quality inspection. We have state-of-the art drones for inspecting roofs and building exteriors that are either too high or unsafe to walk on. Also, some tile roofs are too unsafe to walk on because of the type of material (clay, slate or thin concrete tiles) or from slippery conditions due to moisture and algae growth. Some roofs are only accessible at the 2nd story level which would require a 30′ ladder. Most inspectors do not have this type of ladder and simply inspect the roof from the ground with binoculars. While this is a decent substitute, a drone will have the capability of flying and recording the actual condition of the roof covering as if we were walking on the surface.

Mold Inspection and Testing

Testing for mold in homes is one of the most common inspections that occur in the average day of a home inspector. There are many reasons that a mold inspection and testing is reccomended:

Recent Water Damage

Mold can grow after water damage within 48 hours. One thing is for sure, even a minor leak can lead to mold growth. Unfortunately, many leaks that occur in our homes are hidden away behind walls, underneath floorboards, and in ceilings.

Health Issues

Mold can cause a number of health issues including headaches, stuffy nose, wheezing, and red or itchy eyes, or skin. Some people, such as those with allergies to molds or with asthma, may have more intense reactions.

Buying Or Selling A Home

Whether you are buying or selling it is always good to make sure your house has acceptable mold levels. In fact, you will never have a home without any mold. Mold is everywhere and it is a matter of keeping it at an acceptable level.

Expecting A Baby

Mold can also have a direct affect on your baby’s health. Although babies with other allergies might be particularly vulnerable to mold, your baby can have a reaction to mold even if he/she is relatively healthy. Many babies can become allergic to mold even if they are not allergic to anything else, and the effects can be very harmful.

See Or Smell Suspected Mold

All mold needs to grow is the presence of mold spores, a surface to grow on. This involves warmth, oxygen, and moisture. Many times that musty odor you are smelling is not “just” mold. This is often a result of a chemical compound released at different stages of the mold growth cycle.
